Title: SAP HANA Data Modeler

Job Description
Purpose
The HANA Data Modeler is
primarily responsible for the design of the modeling solution and the
development and unit testing of all the HANA models. The modeler will also
perform the life cycle management of the HANA models which will include the
steps of moving from development to production. The modeler must have deep
understanding of all aspects of integration of data.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, development, and
implementation of SQL scripts, stored procedures, cursors and triggers
• Development of conceptual,
logical, and physical data models for OLTP, DSS relational, EDW (enterprise
data warehouse) and OLAP database solutions
• Lead and/or actively
participate in end-user requirement gathering and conversion to data models
• Facilitate modeling sessions
and design walkthroughs with DBA and development team members
• Proven ability to work across
business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution
definition & technical architecture to meet project requirements.
Key Skills
• Familiarity with at least one
family of SAP Reporting/Analytics solutions
• Experience with Relational
Database Data Modeling tools
• Knowledge of SAP Business
Objects WebI report design desirable
• Application development
experience on relational/SQL Databases highly desired
• Analytical thinking
• Ability to identify solutions
based on new SAP product offerings
• SAP technical expertise
